Lobenberg: Der Ame Soeur ist die fast gleichwertige Cote-Rotie-Alternative vom anderen Rhoneufer. Noch keine eigene Appellation, das kommt aber bald. Der zum Teil im neuen Barrique ausgebaute Wein strotzt vor fast fetter Frucht, Brombeere, Schwarzkirsche, Kaffee, Tabak und dunkle Erde. Trotz des Fetts verspielt und fast blumig, in seiner etwas wilden Art an das spanische Priorat erinnernd. Das ist fast großes Kino! 94/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: The 2020 Collines Rhodaniennes L'Ame Soeur is another Côte Rôtie look-alike. Darker fruits, black olive, smoked meats, and some earthy goodness are all present in this medium to full-bodied, seamless, incredibly elegant Syrah. The tannins here are brilliant as well, and I see no reason it shouldn't evolve for 10-15 years, although it's terrific even today. 93/100

-- Suckling: A well-made syrah from the Vienne slopes with notes of dark cherries, smoke, dried herbs and loads of violets. Medium body with finely grained tannins. Suave with fresh acidity and a violet and blueberry character on the palate. Succulent, peppery finish with excellent length. Drink or hold. 93/100
