Lobenberg: 100% Monastrell, hergestellt nach dem Saignée-Verfahren. Ein weiteres Zeugnis dafür, wie wichtig Nachhaltigkeit bei Recaredo ist. Der Weinbau ist komplett biodynamisch, selbst beim Degorgieren wird auf umweltschonende Methoden gesetzt: Anstatt den Flaschenhals einzufrieren, wird die Hefe in flüssiger Form entfernt – das spart jede Menge Energie. Farblich sind wir zwischen Erdbeer und Rhabarber, wenn jemand Kitsch an der Farbe festmacht, dann haben wir hier genau das Gegenteil eines kitschigen Rosés. In der Nase kommen wilde Erdbeeren, Eukalyptus und rote Johannisbeeren dazu, ein Hauch von Granit und Pinienzapfen. Unheimlich balanciert zwischen den klassischen Aromen, von Beeren und Sauerteig, und eine ganz zarten und dezenten Funkigkeit die dem Ganzen eine Ebene mehr bietet! Im Mund ist der Wein super strukturiert. Kein kitschiger Rosé, sondern richtig Charakter! Rosa Pfeffer, Erdbeere und Himbeere, dazu eine dezente Note von kaltem Rauch. Ein echt anspruchsvoller Rosé, der dabei richtig Spaß macht.

-- Parker: The 2020 Intens Rosat was produced exclusively with Monastrell (as they couldn't use the Garnacha that was lost in that year of mildew) that macerated with the skins for six hours and aged in oak barrels for a short time. It was put to referment in bottle closed with a cork with concentrated organic must and was disgorged after 31 months. This is their youngest wine, and it has an intense pink color (a little paler than in earlier vintages). But going beyond the color, it has the subtle aromas from the red grape (translucent red berries) and is a gastronomical rosé with a balanced palate and abundant small bubbles. It has 11% alcohol, a pH of 3.21 and 4.5 grams of acidity from the year of rain and mildew (and Covid!) that delivered very low yields. Very tasty. 16,000 bottles produced.

-- Weingut: A vintage of contrasts with spring rains that allow the plant to grow with exceptional vigor, but the arrival of summer is accompanied by occasional heat waves with record temperatures. Fortunately, our vineyards aren’t adversely afected: the good vegetative development of the plants shields the grapes from the sun’s harsh rays. The 2019 vintage reflects an exuberant and demanding harvest notable for the excellent health of the grapes and the quality of the indigenous varieties we grow. In order to guarantee the maximum expressiveness and quality of the wine, we work with low yields in the vineyard. In the case of the 2019 vintage, the average yield of Recaredo vines was 42.8 hl/ha. Recaredo's family vineyards. Recaredo Intens is made exclusively with grapes from our own vineyards. Certified organic, biodynamic viticulture. Hand-harvested grapes to maintain the properties of the fruits used for a long-aged sparkling wine. Vinified, made and aged entirely in Recaredo. The colour is obtained by macerating the must with the red grape skins. Secondary fermentation with organic must, a leading commitment that brings us closer to the philosophy of making terroir wines linked to the most sincere identity of our wine region. Long-aged with natural cork stopper, a sustainable, recyclable and ideal material for retaining the original character of a long-aged sparkling wine. Manual disgorging without freezing, a technique based on skilled craftsmanship and respect for the environment. Recaredo Intens Rosat embodies the chromatic intensity achieved by grapes in the Mediterranean region. A focus on authenticity yields a sparkling wine that is dry, lively and enticing, defining an essentially gastronomical style. This is a completely dry Brut Nature sparkling wine with no added sugar. We recommend serving Intens Rosat at around 8-10 ºC.
