Lobenberg: Getrocknete Aprikosen und Pfirsiche in der Nase. Feine, elegante Struktur, klare Fruchtaromen, sehr lebendig. Der wohl beste Albarino aus Rias Baixas, zu Recht immer hoch bewertet von der internationalen Fachpresse. 92-93/100

-- Tim Atkin: This is the regular release from Pazo de Barrantes, recognised all over the world as one of Rías Baixas' signature whites. Fermented with 5% malolactic in racy 2021, with five months on lees for texture, it's a perfumed, floral, beautifully balanced Albariño with pear, greengage and waxed lemon flavours and impressive dry extract. 2022-26. 93/100

-- Parker: The very young and faintly reductive 2021 Albariño is only 12.5% alcohol (the 2020 is 13.5%). It's austere, sharp and vibrant, and the back label specifies one to three years, which to me is not its drinking window but the time you should wait before pulling the cork... It's quite shy and austere, like sea breeze and spring water. It should develop further complexity with age. This has to be one of the most elegant and ethereal vintages for this wine. 92/100

-- Penin: Strohfarbenes Gelb mit grünlichem Rand. In die Nase strömen frische Früchte, Wildkräuter sowie feiner Hefesatz. Im Mund frisch, fruchtig, mit einer guten Säure und einer feinen Bitterkeit. 92/100
