Lobenberg: Ein Weingut von Hubert de Boüard von Angélus, gelegen in Lalande Pomerol. 2020 hat eine einladende, schwarzfruchtige Schwarzkirsch-Nase. Etwas Grafit dahinter, viel Lakritze, Maulbeere und Minze. Hochinteressante Nase, mit einem großen Charmefaktor. Der Mund ist so einladend. Auch hier Schwarzkirsche, aber auch ein bisschen Cassis und Brombeere. Guter Grip, gute Länge, aber auch weiche, runde Tannine, samtig, angenehm fett, eine echte Wucht und überwältigend in seiner opulenten Erotik, Rubens pur. Der Wein ist klassisch, aber er wird viel früher trinkbar sein als 2016. Einladendes Wohlgefallen, mehr als sehr schick! Wenn der Preis passt ein Muss-Kauf, weil er einfach so unglaublich lecker ist. 96-97+/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: As with the classic wine from this estate, the 2020 Château La Fleur De Boüard Le Plus has a gorgeous sense of elegance, yet it brings substantially more density, depth, and breadth in its aromatics as well as on the palate. Ripe currants, black cherry liqueur, spicy oak, white chocolate, graphite, and camphor are just some of its nuances, and it's full-bodied and rich, with a deep, layered, seamless mouthfeel and velvety tannins that emerge on the finish. The team of Hubert de Boüard has produced an incredible wine – yet again – and you could put this up with some of the finest Pomerols in the vintage and it would do just fine. It's going to evolve gracefully over the coming two decades. If there's a finer Lalande-de-Pomerol out there, I don't know of it. 97/100

-- Forbes: This 100% Merlot includes light and bright aromas that include those of raspberries, cherries, country lane hedgerow, and a little peat. Almost wild–sauvage–but luscious and approachable. Gorgeous red fruit and billowing acidity in the mouth within a firm tannic structure. A rich and creamy mid palate that includes cassis, fudge, and cherries. The finish is a light touch. Consider pairing with artichoke and a rosemary sauce, or pata negra ham with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, or a dessert of strawberry tart. 95-97/100
