Lobenberg: Ein ganz klassischer Welschriesling vom Neusiedlersee. Schon in der Nase total viel Frische ausstrahlend! Überwiegend geprägt von grünem Apfel, etwas Birne, Wiesenkräutern und etwas Zitrusschale. Am Gaumen dann unheimlich frisch und animierend. Vibrierende Säure trifft auf saftige Frucht, dazu kommt eine dezente, salzige Mineralität. Einfach total leckerer, erfrischender und unkomplizierter Welschriesling wie er sein soll. Das Glas wird immer schnell leer sein.

-- Parker: The 2023 Welschriesling trocken opens with a beautifully clear, elegant and fruity bouquet of small apricots, ripe pears and some tropical fruit aromas intermingled with spicy nuances. Round and fresh on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, fruity, playful and finely structured Welschriesling with a fine mix of tannins and ripe, elegant and saline acidity. The finish is long, finely bitter and aromatic. This has some similarities with Sauvignon Blanc in terms of grip and structure and a very different aroma profile. It's a gorgeous wine. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2024.

Suckling über: Welschriesling

-- Suckling: With its crisp pear and green apple fruit, this fresh and properly dry white is immediately appealing, but a bit of aeration in the glass pulls out some leesy creaminess and herbal depth. Crisp but not tart acidity and a silky texture at the finish complete the satisfying picture. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
