-- Weingut: Throughout the year, rain played a key role in the weather, especially during the spring. The harvest started slightly later than in 2017 because, unlike the three previous harvests and thanks to the rainfall, the average temperature remained moderate. This fact also led to a very interesting level of acidity in the grapes for sparkling wines destined for ageing. The four varieties are vinified separately to ensure that each one contributes to its full potential. Gramona Imperial, which was started by the third generation of the family, is the expression of the art of blending. In addition to the personality of each grape variety, the characteristics of the different plots are added. Obtaining the perfect blend year after year is an exercise in mastery that draws directly from the tradition of craftsmanship. When each bottle is disgorged, the dosage is carried out to provide the elegant characteristic notes that have made it a classic. Pale golden in colour, the aromas are dominated by ripe white fruit and a floral air, as well as citrus tones and hints of pastries and butter. On the palate, the creaminess accompanies a very fine bubbles and a particularly well-balanced freshness.
