Lobenberg: Einer der beeidruckendsten Weine der neuen Welt und in gewisser Weise untypisch für Kalifornien. Maskulin und üppig voll, extraktreich, ungemein intensive schwarze Frucht, Teer, Tabak, Fett, Lakritz, Espresso, in einer Blindprobe denkt man unwillkürlich an einen massiven Pomerol. Ein großer Wein. 98-100/100

-- Parker: The 2015 Dominus is a blockbuster. A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot (note that no Merlot is used at Dominus Estate, an irony, considering Moueix is the king of Merlot in Pomerol and to a lesser extent St.-Emilion). This wine has incredibly rich, ripe and pure fruit, often suggestive of blueberries, black raspberries and cassis, intermixed with licorice and forest floor notes. A wine of great body, purity and richness, but the balance of a ballerina, this gorgeously lush, voluptuously textured Dominus should drink effortlessly when released and evolve 30 more years, as his older vintages are proving so well. 100/100

-- Suckling: The aromas to this are multidimensional and fascinating with black truffles, bark, cloves, black currants and citrus - even ginseng. Full-bodied, yet reserved and even austere with chewy and powerful tannins that remain polished and refined. The flavors are more umami and savory. Then there's forest fruits and red orange undertones. It lasts for minutes. A wine to age for a lifetime. It's an experience to taste this. A new classic showing its history and tradition as a source of the greatest wines ever from Napa. A wine to always enjoy. 100/100
