Lobenberg: Dunkles Rubinrot, strahlend und leuchtend. Immense Kirschmassen in der Nase, fast burgundisch klar und transparent, frische Zwetschgen dazu und eine feine Gewürznote. Im Mund ergänzt um sehr reife aber nie überreife Frucht, auch hier wieder diese kristalline Klarheit, total poliertem, seidiges Tannin, feine Pfefferschärfe, Chili, Piement. Große Frische, wieder diese tolle Würzmischung, leichter Goudronton, Lebkuchen, etwas helle Lakritze, Himbeere und Cranberry. Brombeere und etwas rote und schwarze Johannisbeere nebst Cassis und Schwarzkirsche stoßen zum süßen roten Kirschsaft. Ein vibrierend aufregender Wein. Steinig kreidig feiner Mineralitätsnachhall mit Salz im Finale. Sangiovese in bester Ausprägung, so geht das nur in Montalcino. 97-98+/100

-- Falstaff: Dunkles, funkelndes Rubingranat. Sehr ausdrucksvolle Nase, satt nach reifen dunklen Kirschen, frischen Zwetschken, Brombeeren, dazu etwas Leder und Gewürznelken. Am Gaumen viel fester Druck, reife Frucht, sehr klar, entfaltet sich mit dichtem Tannin in vielen Strängen, sehr langer Nachhall. 100/100

-- Galloni: Le Ripi's 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Amore & Magia is floral and earthy, with woodland red berry and savory spice accentuated by peppery herbs, crushed stone, and a hint of animal musk. On the palate, the silkiest of textures give way to a stunning mix of vibrant acids, minerals, and tart cherry fruit, as savory spice and tannins that build over time. The finish is long and structured, resonating on saline-mineral-laced tannin and dried red fruits, as inner floral notes slowly fade. The 2015 Amore & Magia is a dramatic Brunello in need of a few years in the cellar. It's certainly full of potential. 94/100

-- Parker: This wine was actually a Rosso di Montalcino last year but has happily become a full-fledged Brunello in this vintage. I'm told that this change is permanent. What I notice most about the Podere le Ripi 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Amore e Magia is the beauty and the richness of its color. The wine pours fourth with dark ruby intensity and purple accents of fuchsia. Fruit comes from a four-hectare site located at 200 to 250 meters above sea level near Castelnuovo dell'Abate on the eastern side of Montalcino, not far from the Lupi e Sirene vineyard that becomes another single-vineyard expression from Podere le Ripi. Following the brightness of the wine's appearance, you get a very incisive and direct bouquet with a sharp and vertical delivery that is pushed by a touch of volatility. This wine is very open and expressive, and it lays it all out for you to enjoy. Candied cherry and raspberry segue to Christmas spice and toasted nut. Some 15,000 bottles were made. It was bottled in July 2019 and went to market in January 2020. 94/100
