-- Jeb Dunnuck: One of the great Syrahs of the world, the 2021 Clos Des Truffiers comes from a single parcel of very old vines, and it's destemmed, sees a long maceration, and two years in new barrels. Its deep purple hue is followed by a great perfume of ripe blackberries, smoked currants, cassis, ground pepper, and spring flowers. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows the more elegant side to the vintage and has beautiful concentration and ripe tannins, with its oak perfectly integrated. It's a beautiful 2021 that's well worth seeking out. 95-97/100

Das Château de la Négly liegt knapp 20 km von Narbonne entfernt im Herzen des Clape Gebirges. Das Gebiet war noch zu gallisch-römischer Zeit eine Insel, und erst durch Sedimentablagerungern entstand der Fluss Aude und es wurde ein Teil des Festlands.
