Lobenberg: Dunkle Farbe mit violetten Reflexen. Gute Konzentration in der Nase. Am Gaumen samtige Aromen von reifen, roten Früchten, feine Sauerkirsche mir roter Johannisbeere und Schlehe, alles unterlegt mit dezenten Blütenanklängen und einem ganz feinen Vanillehauch vom Ausbau im neuen und gebrauchten Holz. Ein extrem charmanter, schmeichelnder Wein, seidig und köstlich. Im Preis-Genuss-Verhältnis einer der Top-Weine unseres Sortiments.

-- Suckling: This has an earthy character with sweet cherries, blackberries, dried orange peel and spices. Full-bodied, juicy and round-textured with generous fruit and hints of bitter orange at the end. Long and spicy. 40% touriga nacional, 29% tinta roriz, 18% castelao, 9% alicante-bouschet and 5% touriga franca. Drink now.

-- Weingut: Today, three generations come together in the field and winery work. A project that values what is genuine, respects traditions, our culture and identity and welcomes modernity. Chocapalha wines reflect our passion for the Quinta’s unique terroir and the careful work we carry out in the vines and in the cellar. This combination translates into fresh, balanced and elegant wines, with excellent aging potential. We like to receive well, and above all, we share the love for Lisbon and its region. The grapes were previously de-stemmed, went through a pre- fermenting maceration at low temperatures during 12 hours. Fermentation took place in lagares with successive pressings by robot and in stainless steel vats during 9 days, not exceeding 25oC. The aging and malolactic fermentation occurred during 18 months in neutral French oak barriques. Beautiful ruby color, very floral nose with wild berries. On the palate shows intense fruit, herbal and spices with great texture. Elegant and fresh aftertaste.
