Lobenberg: Wie alle Weine von Bocca di Lupo 100 Prozent Bioanbau. Der reine Aglianico wurde im Stahl vergoren und dann 15 Monate lang im Barrique ausgebaut. Leuchtendes Rubinrot mit Violett. An der Nase ist der Wein wunderbar seduktiv, tief und würzig. Schwarzkirsche mit Vanille, Granatapfel und Veilchen. Auch dunkle Schokolade, Goudron und Kerzenwachs. Im Mund lässt dieser Aglianico seine Muskeln spielen. Das heißt aber nicht, dass er ein fetter Wein ist – ganz im Gegenteil. Er ist wohl definiert mit einer Menge fein strukturierter Tannine, die sich griffig auf der Zunge türmen, dennoch sind sie zugleich reif und rund, beinahe seidig. Reife, saftige Brombeeren mit Schwarzkirsche und etwas Oregano und grünem Tabak. Trotz all der Power und Energie ist alles in diesem Wein wohlproportioniert, nichts ist schwer. Wenn Aglianico doch immer so burgundisch fei wäre wies dieser wollüstige Leckerlie! Fast ganz großer Wein! Dieser Aglianico ist das Gegenstück zum grandiosen weißen Fiano von Bocca di Lupo. 95-97/100

It’s silky and elegant on the palate. Saline minerals underscore polished red and black fruits, all motivated by a core of brisk acidity. This tapers off with tremendous length and concentration. Regal tannins resonate as savory herbal nuances slowly fade. With such refinement, the 2019 is a fantastic example of Apulian Aglianico. 93+/100
